Full-Time Administrative Assistant Position Available

A-R Partners is looking for a team player to join our administrative department.

We provide excellent remuneration, company-paid extended health benefits, summer flex hours and winter holiday break, as well as the necessary training for you to be successful in this position.

Your essential duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative support to partners, managers, and client services coordinator
  • Maintain computerized time & billing and related software systems
  • Word processing, including preparing, editing and proofreading documents such as client invoices, correspondence, presentations, and reports ensuring accuracy and adherence to firm policies
  • Finalizing client deliverables, including but not limited to, assembling financial statements and tax packages
  • Producing and updating internal reports
  • Uploading and retrieving information from cloud-based data storage and sharing systems

  • Post-secondary studies in office or business administration or equivalent are preferred


  • Excellent computer skills with focus on MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong word processing skills (e.g. inserting and formatting objects, headers/footers, section breaks, tables, styles, mail merges, margins, etc.)
  • Excellent math and accuracy skills
  • Strong oral and written English communication for proofreading and business correspondence


  • Experience working in an administrative role, ideally within an accounting firm environment
  • Experience in a paperless office environment
  • Experience with CCH Accountant’s Suite software (Practice Management, Document)
